(she/her)
Angela believes therapy can create positive change in anyone's life. She works to provide a supportive, honest and compassionate space, focusing on client-centered counseling. Angela is passionate about early childhood trauma and addiction; working both with the individual and family. She also has experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, and self harm. Angela uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, psychodynamic, and Trauma focused therapy to better understand how your struggles impact how you feel and how you function in different areas of your life. Creating awareness and understanding the origins of problematic patterns (thinking, behaving, relating) are key to meaningful change. You know best what is right for you. While exploring, honoring, and letting go of patterns that no longer serve; you will naturally reconnect with your true self and gain life skills that continue to be helpful as you face new situations.
